Today many engaged couples handle alot of their own wedding planning.  When at least one of the individuals is Catholic, this can include making arrangements to be married in the Catholic church.  This is a significant decision.  It means more than just choosing an appropriate and picturesque setting for the ceremony and the photos.

At St. Anthony’s and St. Rita’s we are fortunate to have a Marriage Coordinator, Natalie Taber who can guide you with the planning of your special celebration – together you can complete a Planning Guide to ensure attention to every detail.  Music Director Karen DeVoe can assist you with your music selections to personalize your special day.

Getting Started

It is presumed that the bride or groom is a member of this parish and is practicing the faith.  It is our hope that Catholics are faithful to the weekly celebration of the Eucharist.

Please contact the parish at least 6-7months in advance of any wedding date with prepared recent baptismal certificates. Please don’t reserve a reception hall until you have checked with the parish. Look at  the diocesan link for Marriage-preparation

Music selection for the ceremony should reflect the sacramental nature of the service.  Contact the appropriate Parish Music Director several months in advance to reserve.
